THE FISHERMAN —
Mural for Licata Street Art Festival

As part of the first edition of Licata Street Art Festival (2019) I painted this mural as a tribute to the Licata fishermen, who play an essential role in the city’s soul.

Glad to have had this wonderful experience to paint for the people of Licata, Sicily, Italy. As we painted the wall right next to the harbour, people brought us water, beer, crisps and a looot of delicious Italian ice cream. Never had experienced such a warm-hearted welcome as I had from the people living here. Thanks to the organisation of Licata Street Art Festival for the invitiation, and an even bigge shout-out to the people of Licata and all the great artists I came to meet there.
