NOS VEMOS A LA VUELTA —
Ñatinta Festival 2023, La Paz, Bolivia
In October 2023 I had the chance to paint in the fantastic festival “Ñatinta” in the central cementery in La Paz, Bolivia.
Once a year, to conmemorate the death and celebrate life together with the ancestors, in Bolivian culture they get together at the cementeries, offering food, drinks, chants, music, dancing together with the spirits from the other dimension.
In order to pay my respect to this culture, I painted this spirit connecting both worlds, protecting the portal that is the link between the dimensions.
